"The Negro World" was Marcus Garvey's weekly newspaper published from 1918‑1933. Below are downloadable PDF copies of most of the issues.
The Negro World newspaper contains a near-complete running record of the activities of Marcus Garvey and his organization, the U.N.I.A., as it happened a century ago. Each week, Marcus Garvey wrote the front page editorial of the newspaper. As a result, these issues contain the largest collection of the writings of Marcus Garvey that exists.
Special thanks goes to Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture in Harlem, New York for preserving this priceless history. Enjoy this Black history treasure!
