I definitely can relate to Sister Claudina’s testimonial about growing up and seeing that people, other than Black people, owned the bulk of the businesses that my people in my community bought from. Fortunately, I did get the experience of supporting some of the Black-owned businesses that were in my midst so I understand that this is something that must be done! I thank God for Garvey Nation’s Supporter Program because it trains Black people to put our economic empowerment first!!!
