The Goddess Auset (or Isis) is one of the oldest goddesses of ancient Egypt. She represents the divine mother who brought the gift of enlightenment and life to the Kemetic (Egyptian) people. It was said that she taught the people agriculture and shielded them from harm. Auset was so highly revered that she was called “The Queen of Heaven” and ”The One Who Is All’. These earrings are inspired by the great goddess and the gift she brought to the ancient Black people of Kemet. The colors pink and red are associated with Auset, and represent divine love, passion and protection. The ankh is the Egyptian symbol for life, which is the gift that Auset has bestowed on her people for generations. The earrings measure 3.25 inches long by 1 inch wide.
